RENTGOALIE.CA — BOOKING & SERVICE TERMS

A booking request does not automatically confirm a reservation. RentGoalie.ca first verifies the availability of an appropriate goalie.

A reservation becomes official once goalie availability has been confirmed and the required payment has been received.

The client is requesting a goalie service from RentGoalie.ca, not Marc Lapensée personally.

The client books the RentGoalie.ca service, not automatically a specific goalie.

If the option is offered, the client may indicate a preferred goalie, but that preference is not guaranteed.

RentGoalie.ca may assign another appropriate goalie based on availability, level of play, location and the requirements of the game.

The price is based on the length of the game and how far in advance the booking is made.

Current RentGoalie.ca prices apply regardless of which goalie in the network is assigned to the game.

The applicable price is the price shown for the selected service at the time of booking.

Once an appropriate goalie is available, the client receives payment instructions.

The reservation is definitively confirmed once the required payment has been received.

If payment is not received within the requested timeframe, RentGoalie.ca is not required to hold the goalie or the reservation.

If the client cancels more than 2 hours before the reserved start time, the $10 deposit is non-refundable.

Any balance already paid becomes a RentGoalie.ca credit. No cash refund is issued.

The credit is subject to the validity and use conditions described below.

If the client cancels exactly 2 hours or less before the reserved start time, the full payment is non-refundable and no credit is issued.

If RentGoalie.ca continues to honour the reservation and the goalie remains available, the service remains available.

The same rule applies if the team decides it no longer needs the goalie after RentGoalie.ca has honoured its commitment.

If the client, team or group does not appear while the goalie is present and ready, full payment is retained with no refund or credit.

The same applies if the goalie arrives and the game has been cancelled or moved without RentGoalie.ca being informed.

RentGoalie.ca will first attempt to find an appropriate replacement goalie.

If no goalie can be provided for a confirmed and paid reservation, the amount paid for that reservation will be refunded in full.

The client will not be required to accept a credit instead of a refund.

RentGoalie.ca may replace the originally assigned goalie with another appropriate goalie at no additional cost to the client.

If the goalie service is provided as reserved, the replacement does not constitute a cancellation and does not automatically entitle the client to a refund or credit.

The goalie must be fully equipped and ready at the scheduled start time.

If a delay attributable to the goalie actually reduces the service, RentGoalie.ca may provide appropriate compensation based on the circumstances.

If the delay is so significant that the service cannot reasonably be provided, it may be treated as an inability to provide a goalie.

Delays attributable to the arena, client, team or other external factors are not the responsibility of RentGoalie.ca.

The booking covers the scheduled 60, 90 or 120-minute time period and does not guarantee an exact number of playing minutes.

If the game starts late for a reason not attributable to the goalie, the goalie is not required to remain beyond the scheduled end time.

At the end of the reserved time period, the goalie is free to leave.

If the goalie voluntarily agrees to stay longer, any additional amount agreed directly with the client is considered a tip and belongs 100% to the goalie.

The goalie is never required to extend the service beyond the reserved time.

The client must provide a reasonably accurate estimate of the level of play.

RentGoalie.ca uses this information to assign an appropriate goalie.

If the actual level is materially higher than declared and presents a reasonable safety concern or clear mismatch, the goalie may refuse to play or may leave.

No replacement, refund or credit is guaranteed when the issue results from the level declared by the client.

Hockey involves a normal risk of injury for all participants, including the goalie.

If the goalie is injured during the game and cannot reasonably continue, RentGoalie.ca may attempt to find a solution when reasonably possible.

An injury occurring during play does not entitle the client to a refund or credit.

If the client, team, players or persons associated with the group behave aggressively, threateningly, violently or in an obviously dangerous manner, the goalie may leave if the goalie reasonably believes their safety is compromised.

This does not constitute a failure by RentGoalie.ca.

No refund or credit will be issued when the situation results from the conduct of the client, team or group.

The goalie provides their own complete and appropriate goalie equipment.

The client or team is responsible for the ice booking, pucks, nets and other equipment normally required for the game.

An unpredictable goalie equipment failure during play is treated as an inherent hockey incident when the goalie started the game with reasonably adequate and safe equipment.

The client acknowledges that hockey involves risks including falls, collisions, contact, puck shots and accidental injuries.

RentGoalie.ca provides a goalie service. It does not organize the game and does not control the players, officiating, ice or facility.

Each participant remains responsible for their own participation and conduct.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

The client or organizer is responsible for booking and paying for the ice, obtaining any required permissions, organizing the teams and referees when required, and complying with arena or league rules.

If the game cannot take place or is interrupted for a reason related to the client, organizer, arena or game organization while the goalie honours the assignment, no refund or credit will be issued.

A confirmed booking is tied to a specific date, time, arena and duration.

Any change requested by the client is subject to goalie availability.

If the change is accepted, the price may be adjusted according to the new duration or conditions.

If the goalie cannot accept the requested change, it remains a client-requested modification and the cancellation rules in effect at the time of the request will apply.

The client is responsible for providing complete and reasonably accurate information, including the date, time, arena, duration, level of play, type of hockey and any other important booking details.

RentGoalie.ca may attempt to find a solution if information is incorrect or incomplete, but does not guarantee a replacement, refund or credit when the problem results from information provided or omitted by the client.

If the ice becomes unavailable because of an arena closure, power outage, technical issue, significant weather or another circumstance beyond RentGoalie.ca’s control, RentGoalie.ca is not considered to have cancelled the service.

The amount paid becomes a RentGoalie.ca credit.

A RentGoalie.ca credit is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued.

The credit may be applied to a new RentGoalie.ca booking.

If the new service costs more than the available credit, the client pays the difference.

The credit is tied to the client or group that made the original booking.

It may not be transferred to another person or group without authorization from RentGoalie.ca.

Prices in effect at the time of the new booking will apply.

If the new service costs less than the available credit, the unused balance remains available until the original credit expiration date.

If the new service costs more, the client pays the difference.

To the extent permitted by law, RentGoalie.ca’s financial liability for a problem directly related to the goalie service is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.

RentGoalie.ca is not responsible for the client’s related expenses, including ice rental, referees, travel or other costs, except where such a limitation is not permitted by law.

The booking price is paid to RentGoalie.ca using the stated payment method.

The client should not pay the goalie again for a service that has already been booked and paid through RentGoalie.ca.

Voluntary tips are permitted and belong 100% to the goalie.

RentGoalie.ca collects only the information reasonably necessary to process the request, communicate with the client, assign a goalie and administer the service.

Electronic payments are processed by the payment provider used by RentGoalie.ca. RentGoalie.ca does not directly store complete payment card information.

Relevant client information may be shared with the assigned goalie only when necessary to perform the booking.

Before submitting a booking request, the client must confirm that they have read and agree to the RentGoalie.ca Booking & Service Terms, including the rules regarding payment, cancellations, credits, goalie replacement and client responsibilities.
